Both sides are real people.

Sign in with your email or Google. Before your first purchase, offer or listing, you do a quick ID check: a photo of your ID and a short selfie.

Why: most hobby scams need a throwaway account. When everyone has shown who they are, you can trust the name on the listing, and people are held to their sales.

What we keep: only whether you passed. Never your ID photos or your face.

Bond: a seller's track record.

Bond is the trust you earn here from real orders: completed sales, good reviews and shipping on time. Buyers see it as a score from 0 to 100 and a level. Reviews go both ways, and only after a real order. New sellers start with limits that grow as they complete sales.

  • Prices are in dollars. You pay from your balance, and the seller gets the price plus shipping, less 1%, in the same payment.
  • Our 1% comes out of the seller's side. Buyers pay no fee.
  • We check that the payment went through before the order is marked paid.
  • We never hold the money.
  • Paying from a crypto wallet? Balances are kept one to one in USDC or USDT on Solana, and we cover the network fee.

The lab tag.

Every listing gets a code like CT-7K2Q. One of its photos has to show the item next to that code written on paper. It proves the seller has the card in hand today, not a photo lifted from somewhere else. Up to five photos a listing.

Scam protection.

The scams the hobby already knows, and what we do about each one.

A price far under the market
Listings priced far below the market get a second look before they go live. Too good to be true is the most common bait.
A photo lifted from someone else
Photos that match another seller's listing get checked by our team before the listing goes live.
Pay me outside the site
Keep payment on Colress Market. If someone asks you to pay another way, report it. Accounts that keep asking get paused.
A brand new account with a big listing
New sellers start with limits that grow as they complete sales.
Your address in the wrong hands
Only the other person on a paid order sees your address, and only for that order.

Shipping.

  1. PaidThe listing is reserved and the seller sees the address.
  2. ShippedThe seller adds the carrier and tracking number. We recognize USPS, UPS, FedEx and DHL numbers. Both sides get the tracking link.
  3. DeliveredThe buyer confirms delivery.
  4. DoneThree days after delivery the order completes and reviews open.
  • Orders over $20 ship with tracking. Smaller ones may go in a plain envelope without tracking, at the seller's risk: if it never arrives, you're refunded. Signature confirmation is required from $750.
  • The seller ships within the handling time on the listing. Two days past it, the buyer can cancel.

A person decides.

when
Open a dispute any time before the order completes, up to three days after delivery.
who decides
A person on our team, with the order's timeline, photos and messages in one place.
the outcomes
For the buyer, for the seller, split, or withdrawn. The decision goes on the order's record.
what it costs
Losing a dispute lowers a seller's Bond. Our team can pause an account.

Not allowed.

Counterfeits and proxies
Fakes, reprints sold as originals, and proxy cards of any kind, labeled or not.
Resealed or weighed packs
Packs or boxes that have been opened and closed again, or sorted by weight or any other trick to pull the hits out.
Paid chance
Mystery boxes, repacks, breaks, raffles, wheel spins and anything else where you pay for a random pick. Factory-sealed packs and boxes are fine.
Digital codes resold against their terms
Code cards and online codes where the publisher's terms do not allow resale.
Stolen goods
Anything taken from someone else. Reports go to a person on our team.
Anything illegal
If it's against the law to sell or ship, it can't be listed here.

Questions.

Do I need crypto to buy?

No. Sign in with your email and you get a balance in dollars. Add money from an app you already have, like Cash App or Coinbase, with no card fee. Adding money with a debit or credit card is coming soon. If you already keep USDC or USDT in a crypto wallet, you can add it to your balance or pay from that wallet.

How do I get my money out?

From your account, choose Send or cash out. Send your balance to Cash App, Coinbase or another app that turns it into dollars, then move it to your bank from there.

When does the seller get paid?

The moment the buyer pays. The money goes straight to the seller, with nothing waiting in between.

Is shipping charged the fee?

No. The 1% is on the item price only. Shipping goes to the seller whole.

Does Colress ever hold my money?

No. Your payment goes straight to the seller, with our 1% taken out along the way. We never hold it.

What do you keep from my ID check?

Only whether you passed. Never a picture of your ID or your face.

Who can see my address?

Only the other person on a paid order, and only for that order.

What if the card never shows up?

Orders over $20 ship with tracking. Smaller orders may ship in a plain envelope without tracking, at the seller's risk: if it never arrives, you are refunded. If a seller has not shipped within their handling time plus two days, you can cancel. Once it arrives you have three days to report a problem, and a person on our team decides it.

Can I see who I am buying from?

Yes. Every seller shows their Bond score and level, completed sales, rating, how often they ship on time and how long they've been here.

How do you know if a price is under or over market?

Cards matched to our catalog show a market price based on recent sales, and the listing shows how far over or under it the price is. It's a guide, not an appraisal.
